What We Do	The County Recorder's office also serves as the Registrar of Titles. These positions include a wide range of services to the public: Real estate abstracting. Owner's and encumbrance reports. Satellite office for secretary of State under Revised Article 9. UCC filing office. CNS filing office. Office of record for real estate documents, including deeds, mortgages, miscellaneous documents relating to real estate, and military discharges. Passports. Births (statewide certified copies). Deaths (statewide certified copies, 1997 through 1999). Marriage applications and marriage licenses. Ministerial. Notary commissions. Genealogy searches.
