MWCA


	We represent the cooperative efforts of 16 area workforce councils across the state. Each area council provides leadership and direction for local workforce development programs, which are tailored to meet the specific needs of their communities. It is the mission of the Minnesota Workforce Council Association to provide Minnesota with a skilled and competitive workforce through engaged and proactive local elected officials, workforce boards, and One-Stop partners . We Are Workforce Development We help employers find and recruit qualified workers. We assist job seekers with training, career development and job placement services. We provide youth programs that help young people plan for a career and acquire the skills to succeed in today’s economy. We are dedicated to improving the economic vitality and social well being of our state through innovative and cost-effective workforce development programs.
